Why do some telephone numbers start with '+'?
The + sign indicates an international country code. So for example, a number starting with +44 is a UK number, whereas +33 numbers are in France. If you are already in the country then of course you should omit the country code.

I have not had time to standardize the phone number format in the SoccerBars database. You may have to add/remove a national area code to some numbers, or perhaps add/remove a leading 0 or 1. If you find an mistake please let me know.
