Fans Views "E and C probably shouldn't be listed as a soccer bar as much as it's a "bar that may show soccer" on the TVs. I got stuck downtown working late the night of the US/Mexico game, so found E and C on this website and decided to go there to watch the game. Setup isn't very good - TVs in the corner, none behind the bar, so most seats have a long view. No audio, even for this huge WC qualifier. My colleague and I appeared to be the only two people watching the game. I think the only reason the game was on in the first place was because it was on ESPN2 - some of the TVs were tuned to ESPN and some to ESPN2, and they just seemed to leave it on them even though earlier qualifiers were telecast on FSC. Don't consider this a soccer bar, consider it a bar with sports on the corner TV sets, and without a good layout. Even the E and C on Wacker would have been a better choice for seeing the screens. Any Loop "sports bar" will be as good as this was to watch a game if you can't get to Fado or The Globe. All that said, the bar itself was fine, service was friendly and fast. Nothing wrong with the bar, just not really a soccer bar." (Alex P, Feb 2009)

"Went over to watch game and they do not have the "whole soccer package"...so instead of getting to see England v. Estonia, which I was dying to see, they only had Spain vs. Lichenstein playing. Be sure to check your networks before you go there!!! Nice bar, but they need to get rid of the cig smoke...nasty." (Maralyn, Jun 2007)
